The rent agreement is a legal agreement completed, signed, and dated by the landlord and tenant. It includes the terms and conditions subject to which the property has been leased by the lessor to the lessee.
The rent agreement plays a crucial role in deciding the rights of the lessee and the lessor. Prior to a rent agreement with the landlord, the tenant should ensure that the lessor has the proper title of property. He should either be the owner of the property or an authorized power of attorney holder.
